1, screw installation method

(1) The screw spacing can be properly configured according to the thickness of the plate, and the spacing is too small and too large. If the spacing is too small, it will sometimes cause stress due to too tight, causing damage;

If the spacing is too large, the PC board can be fixed unstable. The following spacing is recommended for this purpose:

A: The thickness of the plate is less than 3.0mm, and the spacing is 10 to 20cm

B: The plate thickness is more than 3.0mm, and the spacing is 20-30cm

C: If you use layers, the spacing is 20 to 30cm

Note: If the PC board is fixed directly with self-tapping screws, the greater the screw spacing, the less likely the board is to be damaged by stress.

(2) The size of the screw hole must consider the difference between the thermal expansion and contraction of the PC board during summer and winter festivals and book nights. In general, the screw aperture should be 2~4mm larger than the minimum diameter of the screw to reserve expansion space

(3) When the position of the screw hole is too close to the edge of the PC board, it is very easy to cause a broken board, in general, the position of the screw hole from the edge of the PC board is more than 2.5 times the diameter of the screw hole.

For example, for screws with a diameter of 4mm, the position of the screw hole should be at least 1cm away from the edge of the PC board.

(4) Do not lock the screw too tightly, otherwise it will cause deformation and stress.

(5) It is best not to use self-tapping screws to lock the screws on the PC board, otherwise stress will occur, and the stress will increase with the thickness of the plate.

(6) In order to reduce the direct pressure of the screw to the material, the washer can be filled with the washer, but the PVC washer and some rubber rings will destroy the PC board and cannot be used. It is recommended to use gaskets made of EPDM, silicone rubber and neoprene rubber.

2, dry assembly method

The so-called dry type, that is, no sealant is used. Because sometimes the expansion of the plate exceeds the extension limit of the sealant and for aesthetic needs, the advantage of the dry assembly system is that the sealing strip is pressed inside the laminates (aluminum alloy profiles), so that the plate can move freely when the expansion and load position move.
